Set in the year 2824, humanity has finally colonized the Solar System, yet conflict remains a constant. Various factions vie for control over valuable resources and dominance. Players can select from five distinct factions: the ambitious Terran Empire, intent on universal supremacy; the profit-driven Saturn Federation, always in pursuit of new capitalistic opportunities; the Jupiter Black Dawn, engaging in a life of piracy and illicit gains; the Replicant Rebels, artificial beings seeking to establish a new techno-civilization; and the Martian Alliance, striving for survival amidst the harsh realities of their environment.

Piloting one of over 200 different spacecraft, ranging from nimble interceptors to formidable capital ships, players can recruit up to 12 wingmen who join in the fray during intense space battles across 100 unique battlefields scattered throughout the Solar System. The game offers an extensive array of over 1,000 modifications, hardware, software options, special abilities, and unique weapons for players to upgrade their ships.

Players gradually expand their sphere of influence within the Solar System to gather resources necessary for building ships, crafting weapons, and developing armor. Eventually, they will need to confront rival faction bases directly in an effort to eliminate competition once and for all.
